About Jill

I trained with the British Wheel of Yoga to become a yoga teacher in 2007. Following further studies in 2011 with the Krishnamacharya Healing and Yoga Foundation (KHYM). I became accredited as a teacher in this tradition. -I completed this course as I found that the teachers influencing me came from this tradition. I have also completed the British Wheel of Yoga pregnancy module. I continue to attend as many workshops as I can to broaden & supplement my initial training.

I came to yoga to de-stress and I was shocked that I had to do asana (postures). I thought I would sit and do nothing. After three months I started to really feel the benefits of yoga once the tension in the mind and body started to ebb away. Becoming a yoga teacher was part of my yoga journey.

Yoga has also helped me with my running and walking through strengthening, stretching, breathing and it also helps me mentally. This has enabled me to do challenges for Meningitis Now who I support (www.meningitisnow.org). -The picture above is me on the last charity event walk not striking the best of asana on a bridge.
